Do you feel like worship just isn’t your thing? Have you ever walked away from worship feeling empty, or worse, like a fraud because you don’t feel the words you’re singing? Sometimes, does God feel like a stranger?
I define “glory” as “God on display,” and “worship” as a reaction to God on display. Each chapter of this book is a study of a character in Scripture, his or her encounter with God, and what their reaction was. The reactions are as varied as the people themselves, and God is so much bigger than you’ve dreamed.
My hope is that in reading this book, you encounter God and react. Perhaps like Elijah, perhaps like Abraham, perhaps like none of the above, but that you will worship because you have seen God, and having seen Him, you cannot get enough—of worship and of the God it belongs to.
