When I Can’t See God, I Will Remember…

Jesus became human to get close to me. John 1:14

God holds the leash on every fearful thing. Revelation 1:18

The God who is to be feared above all gods comes to me gentle as a whisper. 1 Kings 19:11-12

When God speaks, reality bends to His will. See Genesis 1:3

When God promises, it’s a done deal. See Romans 8:29-31

When God commands, He reveals His heart. See Genesis 22

My sin is removed as far as the east is from the west. Psalm 103:12

If the greatest tragedy in human history is the greatest act of love ever demonstrated (Romans 5:8), then I can accept every lesser tragedy as coming from the hand of a good God who loved me and gave Himself up for me (Galatians 2:20).

Satan is nothing more than a tool in God’s belt. Psalm 119:91

What comes from God is good, all the way to the creamy center. Romans 8:28

Jesus knows His own and calls me by name. John 10:3, 14

I don’t carry God, into battle or otherwise. When I go into battle, God carries me. Isaiah 46:3-4

A God small enough to hold would not be big enough to hold me. See Jeremiah 10:5

If I could fully understand the infinite God, He would neither be infinite nor God. Ephesians 3:17-19
