When I Can’t See God, I Will Remember…

Jesus became human to get close to me. John 1:14

Jesus stands in heaven fighting for me, rooting for me, interceding for me. Romans 8:34

God is to be feared above all gods. Jeremiah 10:5-7

God holds the leash on every fearful thing. Revelation 1:18

The God who is to be feared above all gods comes to me gentle as a whisper. 1 Kings 19:11-12

Undone

My sin is removed as far as the east is from the west. Psalm 103:12

My sin is forgotten, even by an all-knowing God. Jeremiah 31:34

My prison has been broken open and my chains are gone. Isaiah 61:1

Because of what Jesus did, God looks on me and is satisfied. Isaiah 53:11

If the greatest tragedy in human history is the greatest act of love ever demonstrated (Romans 5:8), then I can accept every lesser tragedy as coming from the hand of a good God who loved me and gave Himself up for me (Galatians 2:20).

Satan is nothing more than a tool in God’s belt. Psalm 119:91

I don’t carry God, into battle or otherwise. When I go into battle, God carries me. Isaiah 46:3-4
